Hi,

I changed my number this September. My previous number’s account is still active and being billed every month. I did not notice this and I had been in default which I guess potentially affected my credit score. Why am I being billed? I paid the amount today, but I do not think I should be paying it. I understand any past dues before changing my number may reflect but what about the new charges? I am paying for my new number as well. Kindly help me out. Is there a way to rectify this and get back my money? How can my credit default be corrected

When you log into your self serve, how many lines do you see?

Your tile says "WHY IS MY OLD ACCOUNT STILL ACTIVE...", but you open up a new account?

When i open self serve it shows two options to enter (two accounts) . One is my new numbers account and the other is old number linked. when i enter the old account every month i am being billed. at first. i thought it was my past dues that I missed to pay (Even though I had cleared them before) but it was the new charges every month.

So you are saying you changed your number, but it also sounds like you have a 2nd account now? Did you mean to cancel one line, and open a new line? Did you call Koodo to cancel your old line? It’s a little confusing how it’s being described. Could you give more details about old vs new account?
