I paid my phone bill at the end of November as it always done. I also made a separate payment for the tab for 112$ dollars to finish paying off my tab. I then switched over to freedom moible before the end of my billing cycle. Now I'm being charged for canceling my tab before it was paid off even though I did pay it off. And being charged for the month of December even though my services were supposed to be canceled and transfered to my new company
Hi
When requesting the tab pay off in self serve, the amount for the remaining tab is sent to your upcoming bill, it’s not withdrawn from your credit card.
The only way to pay the remaining tab is to request the tab pay off, this is then sent to your upcoming bill and once the bill is issued, it will appear on it along with other applicable charges.
On the December bill which is the final bill, there is also the remaining tab bonus which is charged when canceling before the end of the agreement. More info here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/things-know-about-cancelling-koodo?srsltid=AfmBOoqWGa-bjAsKhB8JRO-PkplaFZjwQhPYHbd4SeefiyMww7Yy295d
My phone bill was already paid at the time I went to pay off my tab. I know I paid off my tab because I did those steps except it didn't give me a final bill because my bill for the month was already taken care of. My bill should have been canceled at the end of the month and my tab shouldn't be charged when I paid it off
When canceling, there is always a final bill coming at the regular bill date after the cancelation which inclues any applicable charges.
We recommend downloading and checking the PDF bill in self serve for more details about the charges and the payments received: https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/viewing-and-downloading-your-bills?srsltid=AfmBOop5SAKFzea89Sll9q7qCb20Ll2C_i09NES1kzqKg-_P7ZChUKPW and if you have further questions, please let us know.
