Hi! I’m visiting Japan and am currently in Airplane mode.
If I switch Airplane mode off, and then turn off data roaming, will i be charged any other roaming charges if I don’t accept or make calls, and if I don’t send texts?
I do need to receive texts.
You would need to turn off data roaming first. If you can’t do it right now, make sure you turn it off right away when you disable airplane mode. Your phone will try to connect and access data the moment you turn off airplane mode. Turn off cellular data will also help.
