Koodo has increase my 3 lines by 5$ /month . ‘Apparently’ to cover the cost of the Telus 5G network. How is it ethical to increase the cost without notice? I did not consent to the rate change as did not change my 3 plans. Poor business practices. Shame on you Koodo. That’s an increase of $180 per year! Will be leaving Koodo when the Christmas deals to change providers are out. Unethical. Poor Business Practices. Price Gauging.
There should be a notice of price increase in the bill before it happen. The issue is it was on the last page of the PDF bill. I recommend you download pdf bills of recent month in selfserve and look for it.
There is also a pop-up notice in some cases telling you about the price change.
This is not good enough Koodo. Most of us have automatic payment plans and therefore have no reason to look at an online PDF bill. I signed up for 3 lines and have it as a line item in my budget . A 14% increase is unacceptable. What was the point of having a plan that a customer cannot rely on it? No transparency, unethical and poor business practice. Do better.

While I totally agree with that, nobody forced you to sign up for automatic bill payments. It is the customer’s responsability to check their bill.
