Please remove the roaming charges as I was close to the border but certainly never crossed.

Hello, I was in Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake on Friday night and saturday morning.  I was in Canada the whole time and didnt cross the border.  I received a text message from Koodo saying that a $14 roaming pass was added, can you please reverse this charge? 


You will receive this message when you are close to the border or in the other countries. But it doesn't mean that you get charged.

Once you received your bill and saw a charges in your bill, then come back here to let us know.  We will flag a rep then.

We have reviewed the details and we have been able to remove the roaming charge since it was triggered due to accidental data roaming, feel free to check the details in your self serve account when you get the chance.

We recommend switching data roaming off and also switch to manual network and select Koodo in the phone settings, this would prevent the connection to a US tower when near the border.
