I ran out of data, but I don’t wanna change my plan so I just want to restart the monthly plan early. How do I do that?

You cannot. The only other alternative is if you purchase data add ons to get a little bit of data until your next bill cycle. Your other options are only to either wait for the next cycle, or change your plan and have a prorated amount of data.


You mentioned that " restart base plan". Are you sure you have a monthly plan? Not a prepaid plan?


Yes sorry it's prepaid. I just know they did it for me before but I had to speak with someone on the phone, but it's like impossible to get someone on the phone with Koodo.


So in that case if youre prepaid when you go to change the rate plan, does it say change now? As that will renew the plan immediately and you will get access to the data, but it will charge you the monthly fee. If you do that just keep in mind that your 30 days will start again so the renewal date of the plan will change.

If you want it to stay the same rate plan then you will need to schedule a call back as reps on here have limited access to prepaid.
