When you download your detailed pdf ebill do you see a charge for US Easy Roam?
Were you near the border on that day of the charge?

We verified the latest invoice and we could not find any roaming charges on the date of 29 of November. You can view the detailed view of the invoice when downloaded as PDF.
Thanks for checking. I did get an email and text Nov 29 from Koodo saying I was charged so was just going off that, but you are correct, I just checked my statement and was not charged.
I ski 3-4 days a week about 20km north of the US border in BC. Got another text and email on Jan 6 for easy roam charge so will wait until I get my Feb statement to confirm if I was charged or not.
I normally change my phone to airplane mode when I ski but can’t always remember. This is a real pain. Is there anything else you can do on your end to block these annoying roaming charges when I am still in Canada?

Sometimes the device is going to catch the network on the other side.
It's a world-wide situation, since the device settings are set to automatically search for the strongest signal.
You can change that in the settings of the device and set it to Manual Network Selection, after it's done searching, you select Koodo and it stays connected to Koodo, even near the border. Airplane mode works as well.
