A sneaky, clever way to increase prices,, good reason to switch out
I checked latest bill and previous one.
Still don’t know why..
There is no carry over , late payment fee ,add on. It is just basic monthly fee is more than usual.
Is there any way I can talk to live oparetor ?
Just spoke to an agent over the phone from loyalty,, without setting up pre authorized payment, they cannot change it back
This seems to be the new customer service practice for Koodo. Every 1 to 3 months they up the price of all their plans and either you sit back and shut up or you call and change your plan. Ever since they merged with Telus, they have gone downhill. I will never again recommend Koodo to anyone who is looking for a cell phone provide and I will be looking into other providers for the coming year, because I quarantee this is going to happen again.

Well actually Koodo has been a Telus Company from day 1, but I agree their price raising practices have become very under-handed.
To throw some context into things, all of the carriers have been aggressively raising prices of plans that are not bound by a Tab in the past year.
All the carriers are now using this as a strategy since plans on tabs are not able to change in price during the tab, that they now regularly increasing the prices of non-tab plans to promote the value of getting a phone on a tab contract. Similar to home internet companies with trying to get you to commit to a contract.
I think it just looks extra worse for Koodo since this was not a common practice for them in the past.
