I was told, considering my phone was stolen, that I wouldn't have to worry about connection fees nor a phone swap fee, yet it's on my bill. Is it typical of Koodo to lie to their customers?

We verified the account and found that the activation was done close to the bill cycle change and the credit for the connection fee usually takes 1-2 bill cycles to show up. We can confirm  that the adjustment is pending to be applied starting with your next invoice.
