on my September bill I was billed $10 for  roaming.  I didn’t leave my country or province, so it’s obviously incorrect.  How do I get a refund/ credit on that charge?

thanks

I’ll flag a rep for you to take a look

Hi @warren l please note you generally have 30 days to dispute charges on the bill is issued. We’ve looked into the charge and it is valid. It was triggered by data usage while your phone connected to US towers, with no Canadian usage in the September 5-7 period.

roaming was turned off.  I was on Vancouver Island.  How is my fault or responsibility (ie: $$) my phone pinged a tower in the US?  Especially when roaming is turned off.

Is there a phone number or someone I can talk to about this.

You can schedule a callback through Koodo Assist to speak to a rep over the phone to further dispute it. Georgia says that it shows for them you were connected steadily for 3 days instead of bouncing signals back and forth. So it’s going to be difficult to contest on your part.

For future refernece, the following article explains how to adjust your phone network settings that should prevent it from happening again:
