We were traveling in Canada along the US border (Manitoba) and received a text informing me that roaming was activated.  We powered the phone off. We did enter the US for about a hour then came back into Canada.  Powered the phone back on about 1 hour after returning to Canada.

I would like to see the charge reversed.

When you login to your self serve, please download your detailed pdf ebill.

Do you see the charge posted on your detailed pdf ebill yet?

Still have 5 days to end of billing period.

I can see the charge on usage summary.

Please let us know when the charge is posted on your detailed pdf ebill.  Only at this point can a rep apply any credits to it after they look into the situation.

I think my biggest issue is that it is not simple to speak with someone  at Koodo about this.  And by speak I mean talk with a person .

We are all persons here.  None of us are bots.

Just post back here and someone will flag a rep for you.  It should be painless.

Even if you talk to someone over the phone right now, they wont be able to do anything until the charge is posted on your detailed pdf ebill

I have my PDF bill now and as I expected it is showing the roaming charge of $14.00.

Let me flag a rep for you.

Hi @Whizbang,

We have looked into the charge you mentioned and as it is accidental roaming we have added a credit to your account, you can check it out in your self serve.

To avoid future charges please make sure the data roaming is turned off in your phone settings and you are manually connecting to the Koodo network.

For more information on how to prevent accidental roaming charges, please check out this article https://community.koodomobile.com/plans-services-232910/easy-roam-understanding-how-you-will-be-charged-while-traveling-7811296

Thank you to everyone for the help!
