I was charged an Easy Roam Fee of $14 on my August 31 statement even though I never left Canada, and I also received a notification that I was in the US again in October. I left a message for a call back and when Koodo called back they were unable to receive my text message to answer their recording. I would like to talk with a person, not a recording. I would also like Koodo to credit my account of $14 for September. I did change my settings on my phone to manual as recommended in some of the chats I have read. Thank You
You mentioned checking other posts, but here’sthe link for the full info just in case:
As for assistance, I’ll flag a rep to confirm and assist. I’m not sure if the August one is too late or not, but at least the October one should be credited if it did result in a charge.
Hi
Please note, charges can generally be disputed in the 30 days following the bill being issued. However, we understand you had a hard time getting in touch with an agent. We have looked into the charge you mentioned and as it is accidental roaming we have added a credit to your account, you can check it out in your self serve. We’ve also checked the last 2 bills and there are no other charges for roaming.
To avoid future charges please make sure the data roaming is turned off in your phone settings and you are manually connecting to the Koodo network.
