My koodo phone bill is 50 dollars every month, but I accidentally sent 20 dollars.
Should I make another 30 dollar payment to fill the full price? Or should I send the whole 50 dollars?

You would only need to pay the remaining $30.
It's like that in general. Any amount you pay goes against the amount owing. Even if you sent the full 50 after the 20, the 20 would apply to your next bill.
