I’m new to Koodo. I recently set up auto pay, but it said it would take effect the following month, so January. My first bill for December is due on the 27th, so I made a payment on the 20th. I just checked my bank account and saw the auto payment went through, so now I’ve double paid for December. Is there a way to get the credit back to me. If I had known the auto pay would go through in the month I changed it, I wouldn’t have made a manual payment and it’s just before Christmas. Any advice?
Hi
It may indeed take up to one full blling cycle for the automatic payment method to register, however, it may be quicker than that.
We see that the payment went through indeed.
Did you make the payment on December 20th via online banking?

Hi,
yes. I did make the payment on December 20 via online banking.
That payment via online banking wasn't yet posted.
Once posted, it will appear in your account as a negative balance. A refund of it might be possible if you call in and speak with the Payment support team. however, if they are able to issue the refund, it will be sent by cheque to the address on file and it may take a few weeks.
The other option is to leave the amount in your account and it will go towards your next bill.
