I am a new customer by transfer from Fido. When joining Koodo nothing was said about a $70 connection fee let alone two of them which appeared on my first bill.  I need to have these unauthorized fees removed from  my account. How do I  get this done?

The connection fee is automatically added if you activated your phone at a store or with the help from rep via phone. That connection fee should be in your service agreement, and normally they asked you put your initial on it. I recommend you check the service agreement for more detail.

I wasn’t asked to sign anything during the changeover as I would have objected to two $70 connection fees. I’ve reviewed my notes taken during the phone conversation with the Koodo rep but nothing was said about these fees. So anyone know what the best route to deal with this issue?

I assumed you activated the phone line with a rep? have you received the service agreement yet? In the service agreement, there should be an item for connection fee in there.

Regarding the dispute, you could schedule a call back and ask a rep to look into it. However, connection fee is a system-wide charge. Unless there was a promotion at the time, they might not be able to waive it for you.
