If I could put 0 stars across every rating site for this company, I would in a heartbeat. If you are considering opening an account with koodo, take this as your warning not to do so, do not ever trust or use koodo for your phone services. 

I have had nothing but issues with Koodo through the years of service Ive had with them, but none of the issues compare to the one I currently have that they "cannot resolve". I had an overpayment situation occur and called koodo representatives to resolve this, was told it was resolved and that I would recieve a refund in about 7-10 days. 2 weeks pass and I never got my refund, so I call to find out whats going on and am told the refund was never even issued in the first place. Connected with at least 2 other call representatives after this and was told a completely different story by each one of them. Then when I finally got a manager on the phone and explained everything, she essentially said yeah sorry about that, laughed, and shrugged me off without actually helping or resolving a single thing and simply tried to end the phone call. The company seems to work with systems from the dark ages and is very clearly not using current technology judging by how slow their services are. Absolutely without a doubt the WORST customer service and company I have ever dealt with in my life. Avoid koodo like the plague. I will be ending my contract with them (as well as the home services I have through their partner company telus) due to this the absolute first chance I get and will NEVER recommend their services to another individual.

You mentioned “overpayment issue”. So what exactly is the issue?


They took the payment for my bill twice from my account and when I called for a refund on the second payment (it being an overpayment) they said they would issue it, so I waited the alloted amount of time that they'd told me I would recieve it within and did not recieve it. Then each time I called after this I got a different answer from them on the situation. Now likely will not see anything come back from them at all. Nothing but shoddy communication from them the entire time.

Did you setup pre-authorized payment with Koodo and Koodo took money twice? Is this the 1st billing cycle that you set it up?


When you login to your self serve do you see that the payment was taken twice under Billing > Bills > Account History? 

 

Does it show a credit in your billing summary page under Amount owing?
