I have a Friend with a Canadian area code cell phone number, who’s wintering in the USA. I have Canada wide calling on my plan. Would there be charges for calling from Canada to my friends number?

+4You could call them without any extra charges, but depending on their plan/carrier they may be charged extra for answering calls while roaming.
