CHARGED ROAMING IN NIAGARA FALLS, ON

I was charged roaming and long distance while in Canada. please help!

Hi @Khen H 

We verified the date of the charge for the Easy Roam and confirmed that your device was connected for a brief moment to a US tower. We applied a credit to adjust that. 

 

The device settings are set to automatically search for the strongest signal. You can change that in the settings of the device and set it to Manual selection, after it's done searching, you select Koodo and it stays connected to Koodo, even near the border. I would also advise to keep Data Roaming off while in Canada. This will avoid any accidental charges.

In regards to the Long distance charge, this was made from Canada to the US and it is a valid fee as we don’t see any additional add-on that  provides minutes for international calling to US, on your number.
