Was told in writing that I would not pay the activation fee. It is showing up on my bill still. How do I get a Koodo rep to waive this?

Hi there @wy38

When a connection fee waive is offered it is usually applied on the 2’nd or 3’rd invoice. As I can see, your account was activated close to the start of the bill cycle, the charge got a chance to get applied first. I verified the account and can confirm that the connection fee will be credited on the next invoice. It is already pending to be applied and you will be able to see it when the new bill gets released.

I got the black Friday deal of $29/month upon setting up pre-authorized payment. Tried to do that many times and couldn't get support from Koodo Assist. I ultimately got a bill of $43.55.☹️

Hi @F.A, welcome to Koodo! The first bill is generally a bit higher due to prorated partial charges. You can find more information on this here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/your-koodo-bill-after-youve-activated-a-new-account-or-added-a-new-line

You were not able to register your credit card for pre-authorized payments as the address on the account does not match the address for the credit card. If you’ve recently moved, you may need to update the information so it can be accepted.
