Hi users.

I am a monthly prepaid customer with Koodo.

I set up a change to my cell phone plan, to be completed on my monthly renewal date.  The payments are always automatically charged to my credit card.

My old plan was $45 a month.  My new plan is $29.

Unfortunately, I was charged $45, and am now showing a credit on my account for $16.

The plan itself is showing as updated, and it shows I am supposed to be paying $29 per month, so I don’t know why it took the old amount out and gave me a credit instead.

Thanks for any help!

How exactly did you change your plan? DId you change it on the last day before renewal or did you plan the change beforehand?

Hi.  I was given an option to start the new plan immediately, or set it to start on my monthly renewal date.  I chose the renewal date.  It was set up about 15 days in advance of the actual change date.

Gotcha, that’s a little strange… because normally when you have set up autopay, it only takes what it needs to take. So if you have a balance now, it should compensate on your next renewal.

I can understand if you don’t want to wait that out, so you could schedule a callback for your prepaid account if you wish 🙂 Link: koodomobile.com/prepaidchat

Thanks a lot Sophia - I will reach out to them.  I appreciate the help!
