I just got a new phone and kept my same old plan, but was told that I not only had to pay my remaining tab balance, but also the bonus tab balance from Koodo. On koodos website says the bonus tab balance only has to be paid if you upgrade with an inillegible plan, why was I charged this?

 

Koodo would've paid the bonus tab portion regardless if I paid my tab off sooner or not, so why am I being charged this extra amount?

In the service agreement (when you signed up with Koodo) and in Koodo self-serve, there were 2 amount reported there. You would be charged the remaining Tab bonus if you upgraded your phone before the 24month period. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/Tab-bonus
