So I cancelled Koodo OCT 3rd, six days into my billing cycle. No credit until the next billing cycle, having paid the month in advance.  I’m not paying $50 and then waiting 3 or 4 weeks to get $40 back. Further I got a text message 19th August apologizing for a prolonged service outage and promising a $5 credit on my next bill. I never got that credit AND when the final bill comes in and I only owe $9.71 I was charged $1.41 for late payment. That's about 120% annual rate, makes the credit card co’s look like heros! Needles to say, I’m not paying the $1.41. Requested a call-back to get this sorted, was told I’d have to wait on hold to speak to the financial team. Did that for almost 10 minutes and then got cut off. No call-back since, about an hour ago.  I would like to thank all at Koodo for making me very happy that I decided to go elsewhere.

Yeah, not going to happen. As I now know the callback rep will transfer me to the “financial team” to sit on hold. I’ve already spent more time than I want on this, I’m not waiting on hold to explain that I don’t actually owe $1.41, in fact Koodo owes me $3.59. 


It’s totally up to you.  It’s your credit rating. 

 

Koodo will just invoice and report to the credit agencies as they believe it is correct.


SO I just spent 5 minutes trying to request a call back only to repeatedly be told that my request cannot be processed at this time, please try again.


Seems to be working for me and took me less than a minute.

Can you share a screenshot of the error you are getting?

 


I waited and tried again after 15 minutes or so, it worked. Then I got a rep who fixed it all for me, now Koodo owes me money. Happy.
