I just signed up 3 lines with koodo. Each line had its activation fee waived but I just received a $400 bill for the activation charges. I’d like to correct this error. Also, 2 of the lines were for my parents who live at a different address in a different province but all of the sim cards were sent to me. With the Canada Post strike going on, I can’t mail it to them. is it possible for them to pickup a replacement sim from a koodo store nearby and will there be a charge for that?
Hi
We have looked into it and can see the connection fee will appear on your next bill, as the bill was issued the same day with the activation day, which postponed the refund to the second bill.
The refund also appears on the agreement.
For the sim cards, it’s possible that your parents get 2 sim cards in store and perform a sim swap, however, there will be a cost for the sims. (Verification code will be sent to the sim cards that are in your posession).
Is it possible to have them sent a sim at their address directly or a credit for the sims they need to purchase? I had asked to deliver the phones and sims to my parents but the csr recommended sending everything to me for simplicity of the order.
Koodo will not sent to any address other than the main address on file due to potential fraud issues.
I’m sure that Koodo would like to credit the account for the second line, because we have not received the SIM card for that line. We tried to get a SIM card at the store but they didn’t want to get involved because we ordered one online already . That was over 1 month ago.
