No phone service but I've paid my full bill

Hi anyone had this? I’ve paid my bill today (I had some extra charges but its all paid now) But Its been a few hours and I still dont have any service on my phone. I’ve taken the sim card out and Ive shut my phone off multiple times. Any ideas?

Failed reactivation of account

I have been a Koodo Prepaid customer for 4 years. Haven’t had issues until now. I did not have funds on my account to cover this month’s bill, so I paid directly with my debit. I have enough money to pay, and it did show on my account that the transaction occurred.Yet when I log into the prepaid self serve, my account is still suspended. I am unsure what to do.

im so done with the internet and CSRs

So here's the scenario. We order koodo internet about 2 weeks ago. Our order and tracking information was still not updated after 5 days and we got a confirmation email that the tech was scheduled to come in 3 days. I called and by God's hand,kidding, we got a tracking number a couple hours later. 2 days after that we received our equipment.  1 modem and 1 Telus wifi 6 booster. The tech came the next day. Rogers tech. I wondered why Rogers, but I let him in. Well he did Jack only cut my coax cable in have used MY spitterand my remaining cord put ends on each and said your all set. Went to his truck grabbed his ladder went to the pole not sure what he did I was obstructed by our garage then he went on his way. No more than 15 minutes.  You guys still with me. Ok so we hook it all up. And zero connection.  So all day Saturday all day Sunday calling and trying to troubleshoot with support. Yes we did all that bs hard restart and what have you. The modem only connect to the Telus router. T

Credit card overcharged

I canceled koodo subscription and returned koodo equipment on April 20, 2024. Despite that  my credit card was charged on May 15, 2024. I have been trying to reach customer service and it is a nightmare contacting an agent. Today, once again I cancelled the subscription by logging to my account and I got partial refund and along with that I received an email to return the device. I am wondering what do I do in this situation. I am afraid koodo might charge next month for not returning the equipment. So far I have had horrible experience with koodo internet and telus home security.

Switched to a plan with data but no mobile data

I switched plans for my son from a plan without data to a plan with 20GB.  He gets a Koodo message on every website he tries that his data is blocked.  There is no message when I go to koodomobile.com Self Serve.  I tried turning cellular data off and on and switching voice and data from LTE to 3G with no effect.   Any ideas on what would work?

US Roaming charges when I did not enter the US

Account *******2 May 13th billOn May 9, 2024  I drove to the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal just south of Vancouver and boarded a ferry to Victoria.  At no point did I enter the United States, but I was charged a roaming fee at 4:06pm presumably because I was very close to the boarder.  Where the phone number and location would be, the bil says “ER/VC”  and “ROAM/VOY”.I would like the $14 removed from my bill.

phone being charged $45 and not the $35 agreed upon

Hi, I don’t understand why I’m being charged $45 for my phone and not the $35 agreed upon originally with the salesman. I spoke with someone about this last month and they credited my account. So, here I receive the new bill with the incorrect amount again. I cannot keep contacting you guys every month. I changed providers for a reason... and that was for the difference in price which is not being honored.Please resolve this ASAP. Thank you!

Unexpected Rate Increase in May

Why did my plan suddenly change from $40 to $44?  I now see a notice in tiny print on my last electronic bill, but I still don't know why.  Is it possible to talk to someone in person?

Missing out on promos because promotional codes won't work

I changed my prepaid base plan a couple of days ago & wanted to use promo codes 15BONUS24 (plus 3rd month free until May 16th) or BONUS20GB30E but got “Your promo code is invalid. Please try again” or “The plan you've selected is not compatible with this promo”, even though I met the parameters. Self-serve prepaid login was down for a couple of days so couldn’t get help that way.

Monthly payment increased $4 without any notice in May

I got $34 plan last Black Friday (Nov 2023), nothing changed for my plan or account since that day. But I found it has been increased to $39 when I got new bill this May. Is there anything wrong with that?

Possible Reason for Extremely Weak Telus Signal in Eastdale, Oshawa?

The Telus/Koodo signal in Eastdale, Oshawa has been extremely weak for the past year. Data is unusable on Fleetwood and Adelaide and is extremely weak between Harmony and Townline.Technical support has acknowledged this already and has noted Eastdale as "An area of concern" since June/July 2023 with no ETA for a solution.I did some digging and according to Ertyu's Canadian Cellular Towers Map, the Telus towers were decommissioned in July 2023. I know Telus uses Bell Towers but this coincides with the weak signal since the summer of 2023.

Not receiving emails?

I realized after subscribing to the Stream+ that I am not receiving emails from Koodo. I haven’t received one since 2022, and I checked my junk mail as well. I updated my email address awhile ago when my old one was hacked & updated it again just now to my email & it said I should have received an email to activate this email address but still haven’t receieved anything. Not sure why this is happening but now I can’t activate my Stream+

Stream+ Activation Email doesn't work

I just subscribed to Stream+  When I click the link in the email from Koodo to activate Disney+ and Amazon, it brings me to my subscription page, but no subscriptions show up. I was able to activate Netflix because Netflix sent a email separately from Koodo to link my account.  I see this isn’t a unique situation so if anyone has any tips, I’d appreciate it!

Monthly Charges increased $4/mo without warning

My May 2024 bill has increased $4 without explanation. I have checked my bill and I was not receiving credits last month. When I look at my transaction history it tells me that my $45/mo plan expired on May 12th and I was automatically signed up for $49/mo plan effective May 12th. There is no listed expiration on this new plan and I had no idea that the “old” plan would also expire. I am no longer under contract and kept my plan when my contract expired a year ago. Is this the downside, they can just up your monthly rate without warning?

Setting up eSim

I activated my new phone with the eSim voucher but even though it’s showing that the eSim is active, it’s also showing that the network is unavailable.  All the calls and texts are still going to my old phone.Is there something I’m not doing right?

I want a new phone, not a whole new plan with sim card

I'm trying to replace my phone with one in the Koodo store, but it looks like they want me to buy a whole new plan, including a new sim card with it. There must be a way to do this, but I can’t see it. Please point me in the right direction.

code 11b1 - can’t make any calls

I am visiting Canada and five days ago purchased a Koodo SIM so I would have phone service and internet access. The agent installed the SIM for me and everything worked fine for five days. Yesterday I was unable to make calls - I get a code 11B1. I need to get the service I have paid for. Help, please!

So you raise prices after 4 months from your Black Friday promotion ?

Not impressed considering I left Fido after 12 years. I've read many people complaining about this and the monthly contract T&C's being fed to them. You want loyalty with those games. Pretty low. Not a great start is you want mutual loyalty.

Missing Referral Credit on Phone Bill - Assistance Needed

I recently changed my phone plan with Koodo and was promised a $30 CAD credit by customer service for referring a friend, which can serve as a waive of the setup fee. However, this credit hasn't appeared on my bill, and I could not find any real person to resolve this issue. Could someone please advise on how can I reach out to the real person to ask for this issue?? When can I expect to see it reflected in my account? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Network data not working in Canada

My phone plan includes 20 GB of Shock-Free Data at 4G speed, but recently, I've been unable to use my network data in Toronto. Suddenly, one day, I just couldn't access any data at all. Without data, it is hard to understand why I should continue paying for this plan, especially since I can't find any way to get help with this issue. I hope someone can help me with this issue or suggest how I can contact a real person for support. Otherwise, I will consider switching back to my previous service provider next month. This is only my second month with Koodo, and I'm already feeling disappointed with both the quality of the mobile plan and the customer service. Thank you for the assistance.
