I signed up for a plan through a kiosk in Mayfair mall. It was a $50 80-gb plan and included a pick-your perk Long Distance plan with a 25% discount for 24 months and then $10 for signing up for automatic payments. Which made the plan $27.50. I tried repeatedly to activate the pick your perk plan but it wouldn’t remain “picked” and when I asked support what to do she said to keep trying and I wouldn’t be charged for long distance in the meantime. I tried at least 2 times to make the long-distance perk stick. Now I am being billed $124 for long distance!!!! And the plan doesn’t even recognize the $10 discount for the automatic payments. This is a completely different plan than the one I signed up for ! Totally unfair and dishonest. Can anyone help me with the next steps for disputing this bill. What are my rights in arbitration or court or whatever. I would NEVER have signed up for a plan that didn’t include long distance to the USA since I call there all the time. This is just so damn dishonest.

Update:i got some good help through Koodo assist and they are going to adjust the plan.

Hi ​@Iggmeister, we’re sorry to hear about the issue with the perk! We’ve checked your account and can see you’ve spoken with an agent back in March that filled out a request to add the Long Distance Pack perk.

We’re still not seeing it on the account, so we’ve submitted another form, the perk should be provisioned to your account within 3 business days.

We can also see the agent mentioned Long Distance charges would be credited and that you’ve spoken to an agent in the meantime that has already credited this charge. 

As for the pre-authorized payment discount, it is active for your line and has been since the first bill. You’ll be able to see it as ‘Pre-Authorized Payments Discount -$10.00’ if you download your bill as a PDF, here is a guide

Thanks. After the discount of 25% and the $10 for automatic monthly payments, I should have a bill of $27.50 a month and then the long distance pic pick your perk which sounds like what I have from your point of view so that's great I appreciate the help. Frankly, getting the pick-your-perk in place has really been a problem since day one so I'm glad to hear you're working on it and I'll just check my account in a few days. Thank you for the help.
