14.71% price increase????


I asked and was told that there would be no price increase for the plan that I signed up???

Now a 14.71% price increase.

And try to chat with someone????  Really???

Hi there,

I’am afraid you were miss informed. Telecommunications companies can actually increase your rate plan at any time, they will give you a notice at least 30 days before. It’s in the terms and agreements you would have agreed to when signing up. If you want to re-read them they’re on Koodo’s website here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/service-terms I know it sucks, but unfortunately they’re allowed to do it. I would check your email or previous bill for the notice of the price increase.

Unless you are on a 2 year agreement, the price may increase for the monthly plan, please feel free to review the terms and conditions in the link shared by @Oliver C .

The increase has been announced on your March bill, page 5: https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/viewing-and-downloading-your-bills

 

This is creepy. I found out my bill increased today. At this kind of rate, why should I stay with Koodo?

Please refer to my previous post and @Flo Koodo post. It’s not just Koodo, any mobile carrier can do this.

It shouldnt be creepy.

Koodo tends to raise prices for specific plans during the same time period.
