I’am afraid you were miss informed. Telecommunications companies can actually increase your rate plan at any time, they will give you a notice at least 30 days before. It’s in the terms and agreements you would have agreed to when signing up. If you want to re-read them they’re on Koodo’s website here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/service-terms I know it sucks, but unfortunately they’re allowed to do it. I would check your email or previous bill for the notice of the price increase.
