Replacement phone for LG Optimus One

What's a good phone to replace my LG Optimus One? I've had it for a while now, and like it a lot. Two things I'm looking for in a new phone are a better camera and more memory. I really enjoy Android, but might be open to a Windows phone. I'm not interested in a Blackberry or an iPhone.

The s2x or the nexus 4 would have the best performance, with the s2x having the edge since it has expandable memory, a replaceable battery and, I believe, a better camera.

Hello April, I know how you feel my Optimus One was great but after a while it shows its age. A great upgrade would be the Samsung Galaxy S2x, that was what I got as an upgrade It's got a great camera (my wife takes shots of her products for her website with it) and lots of memory. Plus it's a dual core device so it's got plenty of power. The screen is also.much larger than the O1 It's not the newest smartphone out there but the price is right. If price isn't an issue than the S3 or S4 would be great. The nexus 4 is great spec wise but I find the camera a bit grainy. The O1 was an entry level device so I would stay away from the Galaxy Discover, or Lumia 520 as they are also entry level devices. I'm sure others will jump in with their suggestions too. Btw I'm now using a Z10 from BlackBerry and I've been very happy with it. The camera is great on that too.

My son upgraded to the Galaxy S2x and he is really happy and loves it! It is a great value for the price- lots of memory, larger screen, 8.0 MP Camera... Now my daughter said she want to upgrade to Galaxy S2x or nexus 4.
Thanks for the input!
