Referral bonus still not there after 3 months

How long does it supposed to take for the referral bonus to appear on the bill? For me it’s been 3 months, I have called a few times but they just say that I have to wait!

 

This really doesn’t make sense. If Koodo wants to apply the credit after 4-5 month, they MUST put that on the add. Instead of saying “$5 off your first 5 bills” they must say “$5 off starting the 4th bill”.

 

I am new to Koodo, and will definitely change my carrier soon. They probably have put that somewhere in the terms and conditions, but this is absolutely not right to give wrong and misleading information on the ad like that. So if you are joining Koodo for their referral bonus, keep this in mind.

Not that long. I think it’s by the 2nd bill at the latest. I had a referral bonus misse din being applied recently. Just send a private message to Koodo via FB Messenger of DM via Twitter. Include your number, and the person referred or referree as well. They will correct it.

Apparently, my referral request has been rejected because I had ported my phone number from a different carrier and they didn’t have the numbers updated when they were validating the referral claim.

This is not good! They have rejected a claim because of errors in their system and did not even inform me to follow up and help them fix it.

I will probably change my carrier soon. Didn’t get a good first impression from Koodo.

Yes, I had completed the referral process properly. Now they asked me to do it again, and they will hopefully add it this time.
