Hello, I would like to buy an unlocked Nokia Lumia 920, but I just need to know if it is compatible with all the Prepaid plans. Thanks!

Yup, you can use any phone you want as long as it supports 850/1900 3G bands. The 920 will be fine.
Hoping I can get some help here. I have an unlocked Nokia Lumia 920 and a topped-up prepaid account. The phone can receive calls and texts but the internet doesn't work (albeit wifi works perfectly). I also have an HTC Windows Phone 8x and it doesn't work with Koodo prepaid either. On the other hand, my Blackberry Z30 works perfectly with data, calls, texts etc. My question is: what could be wrong with the Windows Phones? Settings? Card? Any ideas?

With windows phones its a bit different but youll need to change your APN settings. i would suggest calling Koodo to find out the correct codes. It will be in settings though. im setting up a Lumia 925 later today if i find the codes prior ill come back with the answer!

You can find the apn settings here: Http://koo.do/unlockedphone
Yes, I found that out the hard way. Here is a PDF of the APN settings for Nokia Lumia: http://aide.koodomobile.com/Portals/0/Phones/PDFFiles/WindowsNEW.pdf It was also discussed (and answered) here: http://community.koodomobile.com/koodo/topics/what_are_the_apn_and_mms_settings_for_a_nokia_920_on_koodo Good luck. Thanks for your reply.

Some of those things are outdated. The Access Point app is not available after the 8.1 update (but I no longer needed to use it). 8.1 allows for manual APN editing. I've never had issues getting WP devices to work with Koodo (Lumias 520, 620, 635, 810, 920, 928, 830, 1020, and the Icon), but I'm not on prepaid.

Prepaid must be different then (I had the problem with both my Nokia and HTC Windows Phones). BTW Ivan, I've read several of your articles for Koodo and found them highly informative. Thank you. P.S. So after 8.1 I'm going to have connectivity issues with my phones again?
