my nokia lumia is powered off and is now unresponsive help

my nokia lumia powered off when i was trying to turn up volume now it will not power back on and doesnt show anything when i plug in to charge the screen stays black n blank

If removing the battery and putting it back in doesn't do anything, then I would go to your nearest Koodo store/kiosk tomorrow and send your phone in for warranty repair. You have a one year manufacturers warranty from the date of original purchase.

What I would try is to leave it plugged into the charger it came with for about 20 minutes, and then try holding power + volume up until something comes on the screen. If nothing happens within in a minute or so, I'd consider making a warranty claim.
