Lineup Refresh

In light of Koodo's recent Tab restructuring, I wouldn't mind seeing more high-end devices in its lineup. Here are some suggestions: Nokia Lumia 925: http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_lumia_925-5451.php or Nokia Lumia 1020: http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_lumia_1020-5506.php LG G2: http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_g2-5543.php Sony Xperia Z: http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_z-5204.php HTC One: http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_one-5313.php Huawei Ascend P6: http://www.gsmarena.com/huawei_ascend_p6-5467.php I omitted the Moto X because of the Rogers exclusivity deal.

Agreed. Time for a bit of a change in the lineup. Let's see some newer gear that'll put these new Tabs to work. Great selections btw. Maybe substitute the Moto X for the Motorola Droid Maxx, Droid Ultra or Droid Razr HD.

The droids are Verizon exclusive devices. As far as the Moto X I'm sure Rogers exclusivity is a time based thing & other providers will indeed get it down the road. Instead of the LG G2 I'd have to say the Galaxy Note 3, especially since koodo seems to have a great relationship with Samsung & it's the ultimate of the 5"+ devices. The device koodo really needs to get once released is the Nexus 5 as its price seems to fit great (that is if priced the same area as the N4 at launch) & specs are always top notch at the time of release. Back to Motorola, it might be a good idea to get a relationship going with Motorola as they will be brining some awesome devices now that Google is working with the company to the point they have "a Google company" included in the Motorola logo. Following Google for the late few years they have acquired quite the number of tech companies & those technologies should be showing up in their devices in the next few years & I'm sure they will be pretty mind blowing.

I omitted the Droids not because of a Verizon exclusivity (that's US, anyways) but because they're CDMA. I don't want to see more Samsung. Samsung is everywhere and I'm not a fan. I want to see some brand diversity.

Well that sucks, being that those Droids are only CDMA. The only one I saw that might work on Koodo's network was the Droid Maxx, but it's exclusive to Verizon as well.

I thought that the Xperia Z was a Bell exculsive. Or is it just available at Bell right now but other carriers can pick it up at any time?

Not sure. It's been out since early this year so if it is an exclusive, it's not much of one.

I'm just basing this on the flyer I got in the mail last week saying that the Xperia Z was only available with Bell. But, again, Sony might not have an exculsive deal officially. I could be another example of Bell telling the truth in a misleading way. They actually advertise their phones' ability to connect to wifi networks across Canada, like at Tim Hortons and McDonalds, when last I checked every smartphone could do that.

I know! It's true that Bell is providing that wifi (Bell internet, not mobility though), but it's not exculsive or even priority access to Bell customers. Again, it's technically true, just misleading.
