15% FOR ALL - no bias, keep loyal clients happy

Userlevel 2
We have been loyal koodo customers, and unless we upgrade our phone (and to a new, pricey-er plan?) do we get the 15% tab benefit?! Some of us upgraded a phone a couple weeks ago (see below)!! WE DESERVE EQUALITY! You can attract all new clients as much as you want, but what happens when all of your existing clients leave? Why is it that all of your initiatives only benefit new subscribers? Do you do that because you can't retain satisfied loyal clients anymore? As "Canada's most recommended national mobile phone company" and "highest in customer satisfaction with stand-alone wireless service" by J.D. Power in 2013, we suggest you act like it because those recognitions will be short-lived if you only come up with plans for newbies and do not follow up on your life long clients. Be loyal to your loyal clients, keep them satisfied, and we will do the word-of-mouth marketing for you. No need to pay for billboards and internet banners and radio commercials. Focus on US, and we will continue to be loyal and persuade our friends to join Koodo. Keep us happy. Don't turn on us. Love, Koodo Client MikeO 1 day ago I just upgraded my phone two weeks ago before this deal was offered. Any chance on getting the 15% deal on my existing plan, seeing as I've been a loyal Koodo customer for 4 years? Comment good answer! Dennis L 24 hours agoAnd this is exactly what worries me about these new plans, phone pricing, and tab. It wold be foolish if Koodo wasnt expecting incidents like these to happen MikeO 22 hours ago Agreed. These recent promotions (like the $50.gift certificate for new plans) certainly attract new customers, but they can make existing customers feel under-appreciated and even ripped-off. Why not have the 15% tab rolled out to all existing customers? Why should someone who bought a new phone 3 days after I did be able to pay off their tab 50% faster than I can? There's a sense of unfairness here, and I imagine I won't be the only long-time customer unhappy about this. 15% for all!!! http://community.koodomobile.com/kood...

I find it weird that some of my phones have a %10 tab and some have a %15. [img]https:...drphillips does have a point though.....it's confusing. 🙂

I find it weird that some of my phones have a %10 tab and some have a %15. [img]https:...If you started your tab prior to July 14, 2013 then you would get 10% off your tab. All new tabs signed on July 14, 2013 or later qualify for the 15% tab and guarantee that the tab will be 0 after 2 years http://help.koodomobile.com/getting-started-with-koodo/the-tab-what-it-is-and-how-it-works/how-do-i-get-the-15-tab-contribution This was due to the CRTC wireless code of conduct that came into effect on Dec. 2013. Note that the code will apply to all wireless contracts as of June 3, 2015, regardless of when they were signed. http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/info_sht/t13.htm

It's 15% Koodo contribution + any applicable Tab charge AND if that doesn't equal $6.25 for Tab S or $12.50 for Tab M then Koodo will make an adjustment each month to make sure it does.

Apparently I'm late on some of yesterdays news for the Small Medium and Large tabs. I'v been a loyal customer since 2008 and I just found out today that you could get more than 150$ in tabs now available. I see the plans now for the small tab is 15% towards the bill. On my bill it still shows 10%. What would I have to do in order to get 15% moving forward on my next bill for the tab?

If price was really the only reason people choose a provider wouldn't public. mobi and wind have taken a far bigger share of the market? Their rates are sometimes half is what the other offer yet all three are on the verge of bankruptcy. It's not about laziness, it's just there is more to things than price, otherwise we would all eat No Name food seven days a week. 🙂

Society has changed. Loyal customers aren't rewarded. You need to jump ship in order to get the best deals whether it's telecommunications, cable, satellite radio, etc. Businesses now rely on apathetic customers who are too lazy to change to a different provider to get a better price.

Since koodo raised their device prices to beyond ridiculous, there's absolutely no way I will be ...still, has the new intiative made current clients happy or disastified ? probsblymore are doing the math and the smart ones are realizing, that the original was better and that koodo is screwing us over, making it seeml ike things are better but arent !!
Since koodo raised their device prices to beyond ridiculous, there's absolutely no way I will be ...Nexus 4 remains untouched.

Since koodo raised their device prices to beyond ridiculous, there's absolutely no way I will be ...I think the S3 and S4 device prices went up, but did any others?

Since koodo raised their device prices to beyond ridiculous, there's absolutely no way I will be ...we cannot let these phone companies take advantage of us. yes most of us are very dependent on our phones, most of us dont have house phones/landlines like we used to, yes texting and calling and using data (having internet at the tip of our hands) is so pertinent/necessary in our lives. but that doesnt mean that we are stupid and wil let phone companies take advtange of us. we are educated, we can google, we know whats right and whats wrong.

Since koodo raised their device prices to beyond ridiculous, there's absolutely no way I will be ...Most prices went up, but the Nexus 4 remains $300 (or $150 with small tab). This is $60 cheaper than buying it from Google directly: https://play.google.com/store/devices/details/Nexus_4_16GB?id=nexus_4_16gb&hl=en A pretty good steal I'd say. But the new plan prices are far too expensive. A good approach is keep your old plan, buy the Nexus 4, and get the 15% tab.
Since koodo raised their device prices to beyond ridiculous, there's absolutely no way I will be buying any new phones from them from now on, so I'd rather take the 10% upfront discount, save the money, and buy my phone from elsewhere. and I much rather NOT get the 15% tab applied to me, that's money I will never be able to use
