Wireless home phone service: red flashing light, not showing up in my self serve


Just received my wireless home phone equipment. Installed battery and SIM and.... nothing. Wireless signal strength is flashing red (which indicates that the SIM needs to be checked): could it be that this has not been added to my account? It's not showing up in my self serve, and I see nowhere in self serve to add it manually.

Have you received the email which describes your account information and assigned phone number?  If not, it is possible the transaction to set up your account has not yet been completed.

I haven't: just the pamphlet in the package that advises "to get up and running, you first need to create your self serve account at koodomobile.com/selfserve". Since I already have a self service account for mobile services, I tried to start a new one with a new email address.. it wouldn't accept the 8-digit customer number on the packing slip.
Whoever just sent it: thanks a bunch 🙂. Much appreciated.
