Wifi calling won't complete

On my new Samsung A8 I 'm trying to register for wifi calling. I enter the supplied access code and then my address. Koodo responds with 'Wi-fi calling is now enabled for your phone'. I press Finish and the Wi-fi calling Off/On page comes up with 'Requesting service- please wait' displayed. After a couple of minutes this message disappears so I turn on Wi-fi calling but it takes me back through the enter address -requesting service routine again. How do I get this loop to complete?

You will need to contact Koodo to check that wifi calling is enabled on your account. I recommend scheduling a callback via koodo assist

I would suggest you restart the phone also, and hopefully it helps. It could be some a delay in setting from their server also.
Yes I contacted customer service this morning. They checked that all pertinent switches were properly set in my account and walked me through the phone setup. But still no joy. They suggested connecting to a different wi-fi service to see if that helps. I will do that shortly. I am also going to contact my wi-fi provider Shaw Communications to see if they know anything about wi-fi calling through their routers.
