whp activation

Hi 

I had my wireless phone hub and handset from my friend and I bought koodo sim in store and activated in store.  But even after 12 hours, it is still not activated, I am not able to call or receive call. I am not able to connect to koodo customer care also. 

The promo for home phone $5 per month for 12 months is not available for BYOD customers, which is never mentioned anywhere.  

I feel like I paid $60 for nothing. I started disliking koodo now

There could be several reasons for this.

Regarding the activation, have you got access to Koodo selfserve? When you logged into selfserve, was everything active?

Regarding the device, was your device unlocked? When you put Koodo SIM in the device, was there any signal? What was the device model? was it working fine before?

Why didnt you just buy the sim and hub and then get the discounted monthly rate?  This would have been the lower cost option.
