I signed up for a home phone line on September 6, but I still have no home phone. The number when called gives an out of service message.


I signed up for a home phone line on September 6, but I still have no home phone. The claim was that once the equipment was installed it would be 3-5 business days for service. It has now been a week! The equipment is ZTE WF 721. The lines are plugged into the wireless receiver, with a line going to wireless handheld home phones.

I'm guessing that you ported your number from a landline? It definitely should take only 3-5 business days and you should be able to make outgoing calls at least pretty quickly.

You can send a private message to Koodo via Facebook Messenger or DM via Twitter to ask what's going on.

I tried via Facebook messenger, but they said they were swamped. Is there something else I can do?

If that's what they said you can call 611 but I don't know what the wait times currently are.

What do you mean by "the lines?"  All that should be connected to the WHP device are power and your cordless phone base.
