Hello,

Just got my bill and found some strange charge for $4.99 for Application Store Service - 1 event - 1.00 Mb.
I can understand if it was under my mobile phone, but it was actually under my Home Phone.
What kind of charge is that? Why I received that? This is just a wireless device with a home phone connected to it. How is even possible for Data charge? Koodo Customer Service ... Please explain.
Regards,

"Application Store Service" is not a "data charge". It is likely a 3rd party charge because of call (to/receive) from a 1888 or 1800 number.

Search the term ‘Triton Global’ on this site, and you’ll find most instances of this charge occur from dialling a 1-800 number and agreeing to a re-dial charge or similar. One instance was of a number very similar to the TD Bank number. Chevpck yoyr PDF bill, in more detail to see if any toll-free numbers were called, and you will likely find the culprit.

@Slava Grishin Look at your bill on March 23rd. At 2pm. There is an 888 number you called. Twice. Do you know why you called it?
Don't remember what was it. Anyway, I always thought that 800 numbers are free to call numbers.

To call yes. But if there was a charge then a service must have been requested. I don’t have any more details as this is a third party service., nothing to do with Koodo.
Ok, I see. Thanks

Do you recall anything about a Walmart Giftcard win on that, what seems like a recorded call? I ask, because I called that number and that’s what I got. Seems fishy.
