I was just wondering. When you order a sim card and plan online for a phone you already have, does the phone still work while you wait fir the sim card in the mail

I assumed you are an existing customer who is trying to upgrade your phone. If so, the old SIM and current phone is still working without any problem. The new SIM came with the new phone is an inactive one and you can either keep it as a spare or switch to it following this https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/koodo-sim-support

If you are a new customer who is currently with other carrier, your current SIM is still working. You can port it later once you have access to your selfserve https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/moving-your-number-koodo
