I activated wifi calling on my Galaxy s20 when I was out where there is a cellular network. They sent me a code and everything worked fine. Now that I'm back home off grid,it keeps saying I need to be in cellular range to activate for the first time. It's already been activated for the first time. What do I do?

It is an issue with WiFi calling of Android devices on Koodo network. it needs cellular network contact to reactivate after certain time. I guess there was a timer for wifi connection for android. iPhone, for some reasons, had better wifi calling connection.
In your case, you would likely have to reactivate again when you have Koodo signal.
