There should be a sim card try on the side of the phone. If you have a sim tool you can use that (there's one attached to the paper work in the box for the phone), if not, something like a paper clip will work. Just push the tool into the hole on the side of the phone and the tray will pop out.
For example:
Have you been able to make it work?
Is the sim card too big?
Whatever you do don't force it. It should fit easily like a glove. If it doesn't then something is wrong
