Hello! I’m noticing that I’m not receiving verification codes when I sign up for certain platforms/2FA, but not all. I otherwise receive and send texts fine. One example is Stripe.

Did it work in the past? and have you checked if they sent the text? You could also ask them which short code number that they sent to you and check if there was a block on it.
It seems that some platforms work and some don't. The ones that don't, consistantly don't. I've checked my blocked numbers and it's not blocked...so could it be something that Koodo is blocking?

Koodo doesn’t have any motivation to block anything. The issue could be some technical issue of the sender server or some compatibility between system. Some companies use foreign server (outside of Canada) and that could be an issue also. That was why I asked if you know the short code. If you know try to send text to that one like “Help” or something similar and see if any errors show up. Also contact the sender and ask them. In many cases the problem were from them.

It is of course related with Koodo as I was with Rogers a never had a problem but never. So Koodo should resolve the issue immediately or I will switch back to my old provider Rogers. I see that you aren’t taking seriously our concern and seems we have to resolve them by our self, but how?’ I want to speak with an higher level at Koodo or why not even the top one, the President. Does anyone had his email address?’ Please let me know.

I would suggest you to post this as an Idea. You can do this by scrolling up to the top right-hand corner.
I am having the exact same issue.
Main has been resolved after the system generated the first bill for my account. Don’t worry as it will be fixed for your account as well, only after you see the first bill.

No, it’s too much effort when most platforms don’t want you contacting support directly (like Koodo), so but the time I figure out how to get in touch with a real person, I just give up 😣 Instead of the onus on me every time this happens, maybe Koodo should just look into it, no?

I have flagged a rep to help you out, but I am not sure if the technical support team can resolve the issue. Hope they can give you more insight into the problem.
