Iphone SE data not working

I was out of the country for three months and using a different SIM card. I put my Koodo SIM into my phone when I returned to Canada a few days ago, and my data has not worked ever since. Phone calls and texts are fine. I’ve tried every troubleshooting technique on the Koodo site several times--removed and reinserted SIM card, turned phone off and on, toggled mobile data on and off, reset all network settings. I’m connected to sp.koodo.com. My phone is updated to the latest OS. Airplane mode is off. But any time I’m outside of wifi range, mail, web browsers, and all other data services stop working. Any help in figuring out what is going on would be appreciated!

Do you have a data block add-on enabled in your self-serve account?

No, not unless it’s some secret block that I can’t see.

The reason for the ask is that it sounded very similar to the post below.

Edit: Did you put your phone on a seasonal hold plan while you were out of the country?

I already saw that post and checked that I don’t have a data block add-on. It’s not that.

And no, I put no holds on my plan while I was out of the country.

Strange indeed. I can flag a rep to take a look at this, if you like.

Are you using the same email address for Self Serve as here in the community? This allows the rep to access your account and send private messages if necessary.

I have flagged a rep to look into this.

Thank you!

Hi there @jaybeeee  We have looked into your account and everything seems normal, we did refresh the switch in the backend just to be sure. Please restart your device and everything should be functional.

Thank you! Frustratingly, my phone still wasn’t working after this, though. For the sake of anyone else who might have this problem, I wanted to post how I finally resolved it. To use the SIM card I had abroad, I had to set up an APN profile that was in VPN & Device Management. So my APN was set to sp.koodo.com, but it seems like this APN profile was interfering with my data usage. Once I deleted the profile, I could use my data again! Hopefully, this saves someone else some frustration.
