Are you a prepaid or postpaid customer? Did the phone work in the same are in the past?
From your description, you might have issue with 3G/VoLTE, when your phone wasn’t compatible with volte

The problem is that your device is not really compatible with Koodo, since it can only connect to bands 2, 5, and 7 on the LTE network. Have you considered getting a new device?
Yes, I understand that I have quite an old phone, but I have been using it with koodo over the last 7 years without any problems!
It just started to do that behavior over the last few weeks. It still works fine when I’m away from the work building. The weird thing is that I have full signal and I can receive/send text msgs but I can’t call or receive calls.
Yes, maybe it is time for me to get a new phone…
