What happens after you're done with TAB?

Unfortunately I have to switch phone providers before my TAB has reached $0. Right now I'm at - $80. After I pay off that TAB, are there any other additional things I have to pay for? is there a penalty if I leave before the 24-months is up?

Hi Danielle, Absolutely no worries! All you need to do is pay off your TAB, no matter how much is still left on it. Koodo does NOT have contracts and will never punish you for leaving.... just pay the last month's bill and any remaining TAB amount that's all 🙂 Hope you'll be back one day!

Besides paying for any chargeable use that wasn't included in your plan, nope Pay off your tab and the phone is yours. You may want to ask Koodo to unlock it before you close your account so you can take advantage of a 35$ unlock fee.

Hi Danielle, Another thing to mention too is that if you decided to stay with Koodo after paying off your tab, you would have the option of contributing to a positive tab (which is a maximum of +$150) or you can opt for a 10% discount off of your monthly price plan. Hope this helps as well 🙂

Not anymore, I just called and the 10% discount is no longer offered for the old plans, so basically I'm forced to keep contributing to the tab, even I already paid off the phone

Once your older style tab is paid off Koodo no longer contributes to the tab. If you were on tab medium or plus and were paying an extra five or 10$ each month, that also stops once your phone is paid off. But you are correct that the BYOD discount is no longer accessible.

Those are the new plans, for those with Canada-wide plans there is no discount available
