What happened to the tab balance


Since koodo updated the website, my tab balance always shows the same thing: "2.00".
But this is the amount contributed to the tab monthly, not the amount left.
How do I find out what my tab balance actually is?
Also looking at the bill is no use because my bill shows this every month:

Opening Tab Balance 2.00
Closing Tab Balance 2.00

What the hell does this mean?

Hello Elitsa, Good Afternoon!!

The TAB evolved earlier this spring to a simpler, easier to understand TAB that allows for more freedom & flexibility. Koodo is no longer making a contribution on a monthly basis to your handset ; Monthly rate plans went down and the perks included went up!

No, it literally did not answer my question at all. 
You just gave me general information about Koodo's new plans. 
How the hell is this "simpler, easier to understand"? I am telling you I don't understand.

I am going to repeat my question:

HOW do I know HOW MUCH is left on my tab balance?

The bill tells me NOTHING. Your answer also tells me nothing.

Hi Elistart, Did you change plan or phone with koodo after Koodo updated the plans? If yes then no tab is contributed. If no then koodo still contributes towards your tab and you can call customer care to check the existing tab balance.

No, I haven't changed my plan at all. Thanks for your answer.
So basically, they have completely eliminated any way for me to know what's left on my tab except from calling them and yelling at them. Smart, koodo, smart.....

Yelling is not required, just ask them 🙂 And there is no charge to call with a billing inquiry
