Tab Balance

I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 and have $90 remaining on my tab. My dad just broke his phone and is with Koodo as well.

Can I pay the 90 balance on my tab, give that phone to my dad and then get a new phone with the same plan that i have? Are there any fees involved in paying the tab off?

Thanks!

When did you get the Tab?, was it before or after August 25 2019? If you did upgrade after August 25th 2019, Besides the Tab amount, you would have to calculate the “phone credit” to pay back https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/phone-credit

Regarding the question of keeping your current plan, you can reference this https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/Keeping-or-changing-your-plan-when-you-upgrade-your-phone

You could also consider purchasing a phone on his plan, if eligible, and swap SIM cards so he has your old phone, and you get the new one. You then just sort out the cash difference between the two of you.

I am not understanding my tab payment for my phone.  One month it’s $15 and then it goes up to $30. I believe I’ve paid it off.  Why am I being charged. Gladys.

Hi @Verlinwells - your latest bill that was just released this week shows a single charge of $15 for the Tab. Where are you seeing $30? (Did you download the PDF eBill from Self Serve and review all the details?)
