No ridiculous contracts! Yay!

Hooray! Although to be honest, nobody's had contracts (barring Robellus corporate accounts) for about a year now. They all follow some sort of subsidy/device balance/Tab system of some kind. For Koodo to keep themselves as a no-contract carrier, they still utilize a percentage-based payoff system and Tab charges on higher subsidies, but then take it on themselves to make a calculation to clear it in 24 months. At this point everyone's pretty much on the same playing field, but Koodo's subsidy system is based entirely on the retail price of their devices... whereas Robellus, Fido, and Virgin barely change their retail prices; instead they will simply allow a higher amount of the phone to be subsidized on X pricing tier to make it a better deal.
