I tried to pay off my tab balance before 90 days activation, surprisingly it went through


I thought I have to wait for 90 days before I can pay off my tab balance, but I was curious what error message I will get, so I just tried in the self serve, and it went through! Now am I expecting the tab charge will show up on my next bill? Am I free to change my plan after that? Or is it just a problem with the system? I really did not expect it to go through.

Only about 20 days, and I only paid one bill so far.

But, no more bonus data tho.
If you change your plan with bonus data, you will lose it as soon as you change your plan. (And you will not get it back)

You are right, the plans are not as good as 20 days ago, I need to be careful on changing plan.
