Can the tab now be paid off?

So i was looking at the tab on my account today and it looks like it can now be paid off without having to cancel my account. Is there a catch to this or did they just change it? can i go on the no tab discount after? Thanks

*** IT WILL NOT LET YOU REVERSE THE TAB *** If you select the NO TAB DISCOUNT. It seems like it will send the current negative tab into your next bill. I am sure it won't let you continue. The tab can't be paid off. Unless you are upgrading. At the point of purchase, you can pay off what is left on your tab to be paid off!

It has been posted on here that you are now able to add it to your next invoice, however I haven't seen Koodo confirm either way other than to say what Xavier said about you having to pay it off when upgrading now. Others have posted screen shots as they were able to get it to say it would be added to their next invoice on self serve.
in self serve there seems to now be an option to pay it off.

Alright then 😞 Well you can marked the question as answered. You had your answer Dan. Wish in the future you can pay your tab balance (like sending $50 extra on your bill and transfer that to your tab) but lets be honest. That's not gonna happen! LOL
well the option let me pay it off! the balance will be on my next bill. its under the tab section on self serve if you have a tab. anyway thanks guys

Why would anybody want to pay off their tab unless they are leaving Koodo? It's a decreasing balance interest-free loan, what possible incentive could there be to paying it off? You are literally giving away money for nothing.
I do not want to have debts so I called customer service and they told me I cannot pay a portion of the tab, I only have two options. Pay the complete thing or use my monthly contribution.
