automatic payments not working?

I've turned on automatic payments for my monthly bills but I always seem to have to sign back onto the site to pay off my phone bill. Is this normal? I've been manually paying my bills after turning on automatic payment for about 3-4 months now. I hope I'm not paying extra on top of the automatic payments.

Automatic payments take a full billing cycle to take affect. The payments come out on the due date once the automatic payments are in effect.

Did you register a credit card or have you set up debit payments? When you sign in it should say "the next payment will be deducted on..." such and such date. If you don't see that maybe it's not properly set up. You definitely won't overpaying.
